The Yrythny are an amphibian humanoid species native to the planet Vanimel.
Every ten years, after reaching the age of thirty, the Yrythny migrate back to their homeworld in order to mate. They meet in a location known as the Breeding Pool, an area considered sacred to their people. Once at the pool, they lay a clutch of eight to ten eggs and then leave to let the Caretakers care for the pools.
